Who are we?
Fife Elderly Forum Executive is a group of people aged 55 and over who are nominated by the local elderly forums in Fife to come together to act as an umbrella body representing older people in Fife.
First established in late 1990, we meet on the last Thursday of the month at St Bryce Kirk Centre in Kirkcaldy.
What do we do?
Over the years we have campaigned on many issues for the older people of Fife, this has included some of the following:
- Home Care Charges
- Increased sheltered housing
- Increased day care provision
- Reduction in delayed discharge figures
- Free personal care
- Reduced hospital waiting times
Panel Members Required
We are currently seeking User Panel members to establiish 2 groups one in the Newport/Tayport area and the other in Cowdenbeath/Lochgelly.
